Separation Barrier

Separation Barrier

Israel has the responsibility to provide security for its citizens.

Rabbis for Human Rights is convinced that Israel’s security needs are best served by measures that avoid, as much as possible, the creation of conflicts between Israel’s right to self-defense and Palestinians’ rights to their land, freedom of movement, and access to livelihood, health care, and education centers.

Rabbis for Human Rights works to oppose the route of the Separation Barrier where it unnecessarily expropriates lands, cuts people off from their fields, divides villages or surrounds them.

Rabbis for Human Rights advocates just security means for just security ends.
