Tractate Independence

Rabbis for Human Rights has created a Talmudic-style commentary on Israel’s Declaration of Independence. The program emphasizes themes that address the nature of the Jewish State: equality, democracy, ecology, religion and state, treatment of minorities, human rights obligations, and more. The project reaches thousands of Israeli school children, college students, and adult learners.

Between Yom HaAtzmaut until a week after Shavuot RHR is organizing study sessions on “Masekhet Atzmaut,” (Our Talmudic style and intergenerational commentary on Megilat HaAtzmaut)

For those who would like to teach, there will be training sessions on the 1st of June in Ra’anana from Kehilat Raanan, tel: 09-7740311 from 10:00-14:00.

We are interested in hiring a person to help organize study sessions in yeshivot and other Orthodox institutions.

If you are interested in participating in a study session, teaching or inviting us to teach in your community, please call the office, 02-6482756
