Rabbi Miri Gold
Born in Detroit MI USA, Rabbi Gold’s grandparents were Orthodox and she was raised in a Conservative community. After attending the University of Michigan, Rabbi Gold immigrated to Israel in 1977 and became the community leader of Kibbutz Gezer’s Kehilat Birkat Shalom Reform synagogue. The congregation has 180 members from Kibbutz Gezer and the surrounding communities.
Rabbi Gold completed her rabbinic studies at Hebrew Union College and was ordained in 1999 and received her M.A. from the Institute for Contemporary Jewry at the Hebrew University.
