Lilach Tchlenov is the editor of RHR’s “Tractate Independence” project - a Talmudic-style commentary on Israel’s Declaration of Independence.

A native of Kibbutz Nahal Oz, Ms. Tchlenov was the Israeli emissary to the Assembly of Masorti Synagogues, the umbrella body that serves all Masorti communities in Britain, and to their Yyouth Movement NOAM. Ms. Tchlenov has held a series of leadership positions in facilitating and moderating various educational groups. Ms. Tchlenov has written many programs for various educational initiatives.

Ms. Tchlenov holds a graduate degree in Educational Leadership from the Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies and is a graduate of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in the fields of Biblical Studies and Jewish Philosophy, and holds a degree in Linguistic editing from Tel Aviv University.
