Defense of Palestinian Human Rights
חֶסֶד וֶאֱמֶת נִפְגָּשׁוּ צֶדֶק וְשָׁלוֹם נָשָׁקוּ
אֱמֶת מֵאֶרֶץ תִּצְמָח וְצֶדֶק מִשָּׁמַיִם נִשְׁקָף
תהילים פה: יא-וב
Faithfulness and Truth shall meet, Justice and Peace shall embrace;
Truth sprouts from the earth, Justice looks down from heaven. (Psalms 85: 11-12)
While affirming Israel’s right and obligation to protect its citizens and ensure their security, Rabbis for Human Rights insists that the rights of Palestinians must be protected.
Along with coalition partners, Rabbis for Human Rights works to attain justice for the community of Jahalin Bedouin who were forced to move to a bare hilltop and to prevent the forced expulsion of the South Hebron Hills cave dwellers.
