Biur Hametz: Food items to those in need
The burning of the hametz marks the symbolic division between the evil inclination and the desire for purity. We at Rabbis for Human Rights burn only a symbolic part of the Chametz we find in our houses, and distribute the rest to our semitic cousins whose houses and means of livelihood have been demolished and uprooted.
